Q You will use the library databases to find three sources that you might use in your Research Paper; at least one needs to be a book and at least one needs to be a journal article. The third could be another book or article, a website, a video, or another kind of source. Your professor and your CBU librarians are knowledgeable people who can point you toward good resources, but excellent places to look include the library's "OneSearch" and "Opposing Viewpoints" in their article databases. After you find your sources, you will use them to create a three-source References page (APA) or Works Cited page (MLA) and submit it here. You may also use these sources in your Annotated Bibliography later. For your first source, locate a book or ebook from the library using Source Type and "Show More." For your second source, locate an academic journal article. For your third source, you may choose the type of source. Decide if you want to learn APA format (either APA 7th edition, which is recommended, or APA 6th edition, which is the version in your textbook, is acceptable) OR MLA format. You will not need to learn both formats. Try to choose the one you will use the most in your future classes. Whichever style you choose is the style you will use for the rest of the course.
